After being in the band Slow Club Rebecca launched her solo career with her first album Compliments Please in 2019.
Her album Prioritise Pleasure released in 2021, received significant critical acclaim with several awards and nominations. It was named ‘Album of the Year’ by The Guardian and The Sunday Times. The album also received a Mercury Prize nomination and won the 2022 BBC Introducing’s Artist of the Year award.
Rebecca’s new album A Complicated Woman was launched with a live show that blended music, theatre and storytelling at the Duke of York’s Theatre, West End. The show received 5-star reviews, and the album was ranked top 5 in the UK album charts.
Playing at venues across the UK and Europe with the new album and the theatrical production, Self Esteem continues to explore complex emotions, female empowerment, and the nuances of human relationships with a mix of humor and vulnerability.
Rebecca is a huge supporter of the amazing Good Nights Out Campaign for safer nightlife and the Safe Gigs for Women facebook group.
