Hi. Looking for some more gigs to attend in July in the Manchester/Liverpool area. Any suggestions?? Open to anything indie rock-related.

    Hi

From East Yorkshire, so not sure who’s playing Manchester way, but good bands I’ve seen so far this year are:

    English Teacher

    Lime Garden

    Fever

    A Certain Ratio

    Fontaines DC

    Swim School

    Bizarre Fae

    Cheers

Thanks! I’ll check them out. I’ve seen Fontaines DC a few times. Seeing them again in November too 🙂

Thats a great list you’ve got there 👍

Definitely feels like Fontaines are about to really blow up soon.

ACR – wow ! That’s a blast from the past, one of the 1st bands i saw live, way back in the day 😁

Manic Street Preachers always know how to perform! That’ll be great I’m sure 😁

      Nice 👍

Heard great things about Suede’s recent shows – apparently they were amazing at Isle of Wight festival.

Enjoy & don’t forget to post some pictures on here after 😁

Hi Alice – I saw The National at Castlefield Bowl on Thursday. I love a bit of Indie Dad Rock 😂 Bombay Bicycle were good in Manchester in February too. I usually go to Liverpool gigs but my son is based in Manchester and I’m doing a few gigs there this year with him. Check out Royel Otis. They are playing Liverpool and Manchester this year. I think we’re going to the New Century, Manchester in December but they may have an earlier gig in Liverpool? Magic Numbers are at Arts Club Liverpool in December too 🎶
